DP-320超分散剂

  Product Introduction

In the field of rubber and plastic processing, polyethylene wax, EBS wax, polypropylene wax, EVA wax, etc. are commonly used as dispersants for pigments and fillers. These dispersants are mostly external lubricants for rubber and plastic materials, with weak dispersing power, mainly to prevent the agglomeration of pigment and filler particles, playing a role as 'isolation agents'. The shortcomings of traditional dispersants are:

▪ Weak dispersing power and poor color rendering;

▪ Most dispersants are external lubricants for rubber and plastic materials, which are easily 'desorbed' during the color masterbatch processing, leading to the agglomeration of pigment/filler particles;

▪ Most dispersants have low heat resistance and are not suitable for use in engineering plastics such as nylon (PA), PBT, and POM.

DP-320 is a highly branched polymer metal complex that can be widely used for the excellent dispersion of azo organic pigments, phthalocyanine series pigments, carbon black, graphene, conductive graphite, and other organic/inorganic pigments, as well as fillers such as calcium carbonate, talc, kaolin, magnesium hydroxide (MH), aluminum hydroxide (AH), hydrated talc, aluminum oxide (Al2O3), silica powder, mica, etc. Due to its specific molecular structure, DP-320 is suitable for polymer substrates such as PVC, ABS, AS, PP, PE, EVA, PA, PBT/PET, POM, as well as SBR, NBR, BR, natural rubber, SBS, TPR, TPE, TPU, and powder coatings.

The heat resistance of DP-320 super dispersant can reach 300℃, suitable for pigment dispersion in high-temperature engineering plastics. Its features are:

▪ Strong dispersing power and high color rendering;

▪ Its molecular structure gives it a wide compatibility range from non-polar to high-polarity polymers;

▪ It has good dispersibility and self-dispersibility for various pigments and fillers in non-polar and high-polarity polymers;

▪ It has high-temperature stability and is therefore suitable for use in engineering plastics such as PA, PET, and POM.

  Instructions for Use

Coating Treatment for Pigment/Filler

DP-320 super dispersant can be directly used for surface treatment of various pigments/fillers. Add the pigments/fillers into a high-speed mixer, start stirring and add DP-320 dispersant. Stir at 110℃~120℃ until the pigment/filler is pre-coated with high dispersion.

In-Situ Use

Fully pre-mix the pigments, fillers, plastics and various processing aids, and then add them together to the twin-screw extruder for processing.

Masterbatch Production

Fully pre-mix the pigments, fillers, and plastic particles, and then add them together to the twin-screw extruder. After melting, pelletize them or mix the pigments, fillers, and plastic particles together in the internal mixer to produce pellets uniformly.
