Product Introduction
SPC flooring and wall panels belong to highly filled PVC products, which require good toughness, strength, rigidity, and dimensional stability. In addition, SPC flooring also requires anti-fatigue testing to determine the product's service life. The typical toughening method for SPC boards is to use a CPE/ACR composite system, where ACR processing aids improve the processing performance of the highly filled SPC system, while CPE acts as a toughening agent. To achieve good toughness for SPC flooring, the amount of CPE needs to be increased, but this also affects the strength, rigidity, and dimensional stability of SPC flooring. It is challenging for SPC board manufacturers to balance these mechanical parameters. Furthermore, SPC flooring belongs to highly filled systems, with calcium carbonate content ranging between 300 to 400 parts, and it is difficult to eliminate microcracks at the interface between the calcium carbonate particles and the PVC resin system, which leads to poor anti-fatigue strength. The typical manifestation is that the number of wheel turns is difficult to reach 12,000 or more, and the number of wheel turns for many products is only between 6,000 to 10,000, greatly affecting the service life of SPC flooring.
LG-370 impact modifier is a special organic coordinating polymer that has a wider processing range and higher plasticizing efficiency than ACR to meet the easy processing requirements of highly filled SPC boards. LG-370 is also a highly effective super-dispersant that fully disperses a large number of CaCO3 particles in the PVC system and melts the PVC/CaCO3 together, eliminating the microcracks at the interface between PVC and CaCO3 particles to improve the anti-fatigue strength of SPC boards and significantly increase the number of wheel turns for SPC flooring. In addition, LG-370 is a highly efficient plasticizing agent for PVC, which can effectively relax the PVC chains and improve the toughness of PVC. Due to its different toughening mechanism from CPE, LG-370 toughens PVC while ensuring that the rigidity and strength of PVC products do not decrease, ensuring the dimensional stability of SPC boards even with a large amount of LG-370 impact-resistant modifier added.

Recommended dosage
